Strong Women Strong World
When you give a gift to support a girl or a woman it changes not only her life, but also life for her family and often her entire community. She can create a positive ripple effect. She is a great investment.
A girl born in a poor community today is thrust in to the largest group of humanity to be denied basic needs and human rights — women. In some cases, her struggle starts in the womb and most often continues into womanhood. Millions of girls are subjected to difficult living conditions, abuse, child labor, sex trafficking, early marriage, lack of education and income opportunity, and other offenses because they are born into cultures in which females are often poorly valued. Your gift helps to protect girls and women and prevent the cycle from continuing by equipping skilled, local staff to offer training, education, counseling, small business loans, and other programs that reach women and girls as well as boys — helping to end cycles of abuse and unhealthy beliefs. Change her story and you change the future for all her children.
This fund supports projects in some of the most difficult places in the world* to be a girl or a woman, utilizing interlinked interventions which when addressed together create the greatest sustainable change. Interventions include:
- Justice, rights and protection
- Child and maternal health
- Access to clean water, hygiene & sanitation
- Education and leadership development
- Entrepreneurship and access to capital

Why this fund? We believe that a pooled fund will actually have greater impact and efficiency as we work together to build a better world for children. We will streamline our efforts, choose the best projects and be able to provide better reports about the impact.
